The Vietnam Journal of Nutrition & Food (printed and electronic versions) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal with international standard code ISSN: 1859–0381, the governing organization is the Vietnam Nutrition Association and the scientific support organization is the National Institute of Nutrition. 

The Vietnam Journal of Nutrition & Food is a forum for academic exchange and information on nutrition science, food and other relevant fields by all individuals and organizations who are training, researching, examining nutritional consulting, providing and seeking services on the above contents.

The Vietnam Journal of Nutrition & Food publishes original researches, case reports, reviews, research methodology, commentary, book reviews, and scientific and technological information on nutrition and food science, food safety and hygiene, the fields of medicine and pharmacy, environment, agriculture, economy and society related to nutrition and food.

The journal publishes 6 issues each year, including at least 1 issue in English (not including supplements and special issues).
