Abstract

Objective: To describe the current situation of nutritional care for patients at Thai Binh
Dermatology Hospital in 2020. Subject: Doctors, nurses, nutritionists working at Facility
1 or Facility 2 of Thai Binh Provincial Hospital of Dermatology. Method: Descriptive
epidemiological method through a cross-sectional survey. Results: Currently, the hospital
had not yet established a nutrition department, the nutrition team had only 1 doctor
and 1 nurse; up to 86.8% of health workers had not been trained in nutrition. Over 70%
of health workers were aware of the importance of nutritional care. Two-thirds of health
workers believed that it was only necessary to screen and evaluate nutritional status for
patients at risk of nutrition, not all patients.
