Abstract

Objectives: Describe the knowledge and practice of food safety of on processors and
sellers in Bac Ninh city in 2020. Subjects and research methods: The study was conducted
by descriptive method, cross-sectional design on 350 food processors and traders in
Bac Ninh city. Research results: Only 47.1 to 60.6% of the study subjects correctly answered
the effect of displaying food in glass cabinets; about 76.7% answered that they
need to wear a mask when processing food. The rate of periodic health check-up was
85.7%. The rate of research subjects with general knowledge reached: 86.3%; General
practice achieved: 74.3%. The rate of study subjects with poor knowledge and practice
accounted for 13.7% and 25.7%. Recommendation: To strengthen communication
and education to improve knowledge and practice on food safety of food processors
and traders.
