THE CURRENT SITUATION OF NUTRITION CARE FOR PATIENTS WHO WERE ON INPATIENT TREATMENT IN THAI BINH GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2018-2019

Abstract

A cross-sectional study with various methods to collect data such as observing, assessing nutrition care activities and interviewing of 106 family members who took care of patients at the time of admission in the first 24 hours was conducted to describe the current
situation of nutrition care for 133 stroke patients who were on inpatient treatment in Thai
Binh General Hospital. The research was carried out from December 2018 to February
2019. The result showed that 96.2% of patients had been asked about nutritional history;
81.2% of patients had been lab tested for nutritional status; 98.5% of patients had been
screened and assessed for nutritional status; 100% of patients had been concluded of nutritional status and 82.7% of patients had been satisfied with the meals served at the hospital.
