Mục tiêu: Mô tả tình trạng và chế độ dinh dưỡng của người bệnh xơ gan tại Khoa Tiêu hóa Bệnh viện Quân Y 103.


Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang trên 51 bệnh nhân xơ gan, tuổi trung bình 58. Đánh giá khẩu phần ăn 24h qua, tình trạng dinh dưỡng được định bằng phương pháp đánh giá dinh dưỡng toàn diện chủ quan (SGA)


Kết quả: Năng lượng và protein khẩu phần lần lượt là 22,4±9,3 kcal/kg/ngày và 1,1±0,5 g/kg/ngày. Phần lớn người bệnh không đạt đủ về nhu cầu năng lượng (78,4%), protein (45,1%), chất xơ (100%) và các vi chất khác (vitamin A, nhóm B (B1, B2, B6), kẽm, magie, canxi, phospho). Tỷ lệ suy dinh dưỡng theo đánh giá SGA là 70,6%. Giá trị năng lượng và protein khẩu phần ăn của nhóm suy dinh dưỡng thấp hơn đáng kể so với nhóm không suy dinh dưỡng. Các triệu chứng lâm sàng thường gặp tác động đến ăn uống là mệt mỏi, cảm giác no sớm, chán ăn, đau và khô miệng.


Kết luận: Tỷ lệ suy dinh dưỡng cao ở bệnh nhân xơ gan và hay gặp các triệu chứng ảnh hưởng tới tiêu hóa. Khẩu phần của đa số người bệnh không đáp ứng đủ nhu cầu năng lượng, đạm, chất xơ và một số vi chất dinh dưỡng khác.
