NUTRITION, INFLAMATION, AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF CANCER

Abstract

The increasing trend of cancer in Vietnam together with increasing use of harmful chemicals in food production has made local authorities to make appeals for actions to fast address this health risk. This article aims to (1) Review basis functions of immune system; (2) Describe the relation of inflammation reaction and cancer development; (3) Update evidences on association between intestinal microorganism and cancer development; (4) List major principles in prevention of cancer development.
