Abstract

A cross-sectional study was conducted in 210 children aged 18-<60 months in some communes of Nam Truc district, Nam Dịnh province. Assessing motor-cognitive of children was used Ages & Stage Questionnaire (ASQ) test. The results showed that: The underweight and stunting children having motor-cognitive skills in below cutoff and monitor zone were trend higher as compared to those of non underweight and stunting children. The mother having education level bellow high school had 2.3 time (OR=2,3; 95%CI: 1,2-4,6: p<0,05) and 2.0 time (OR = 2,0; 95%CI: 1,0-3,9; p < 0,05) higher risk of below cutoff and monitor skills on fine motor and personal-social skills as compared to those having education equal or above high school.
