Abstract

Study aims to evaluate some nutritional anthropometric indicators of 20-35 years old Dao and Tay ethnic women in Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang province in 2016. The study result showed that the proportion of chronic energy deficiency in the study subjects was 22.2% and the proportion of obesity and overweight was accounted for only 2.3%. Average weight of objects was 48.5 ± 5.4 kg, the smallest was 35 kg and the largest was 70 kg. Average height of objects was 155.9 ±5.9 cm, the smallest was 138 cm and the largest was 172 cm. Average BMI of the subjects was 19.9 ± 2.1, the smallest was 15.8 and the largest was 29.1. Mean hip circumference of subjects was 85.5 ± 5.5 cm, the smallest was 67 cm and the largest was 98 cm.
