Abstract

The descriptive study was conducted through cross-sectional survey to identify some factors related to increased serum uric acid in people aged 25-64 years in 2 purely agricultural communes in Thai Binh province. Results: Men were at risk of increased uric acid by 5.1 times higher than women; People in the group had increased cholesterol, increased triglycerides, increased HDLc, increased critical blood pressure, hyperglycemia, and smoking had increased risk of uric acid by 3.8; 6.6; 2.1; 3.0; and 2.4 times higher the normal group, respectively. People who smoked, drank alcohol had increased risk of uric acid by 2.8 and 2.4 times higher than normal once, respectively. Conclusion: There was a relationship between the increase in uric acid and the sex of the subjects;
There was a relationship between hyperuricemia and dyslipidemia in subjects; There
was a relationship between hyperuricemia and hypertension and smoking, alcohol use.
