THE SITUATION OF INCREASING SERUM URIC ACID IN PEOPLE AGED 25-64 IN 2 PURELY AGRICULTURAL COMMUNES IN THAI BINH PROVINCE, 2019

Abstract

A descriptive study through cross-sectional survey to describe the situation of increased serum uric acid in people aged 25-64 in 2 purely agricultural communes in Thai Binh province was conducted. Results: The average uric acid concentration of the study
subjects was 329.2 ± 82.8 µmol/l, of which that of men was 378.7 ± 76.7 µmol/l higher than women of 278.0 ± 52.3µmol/l. The rate of increased uric acid in men was accounted for 25.9% and that of women was accounted for 6.4%, p <0.05. The rate of increased uric acid in the subjects was 16.4%. The concentration of uric acid in the all age groups were similar, the rate of increased uric acid in people with hypertension level 1 were 40.0%, and in subjects with disorders of cholesterol, triglycerides and LDLc was 28.3%
, 37.4% and 20.5%, respectively.
Conclusion: The rate of increased uric acid in men
were higher than that of women, however, this rate was similar in the all age groups, this
rate among cases with blood lipid disorders was higher than normal people.
