Tóm tắt

Mục tiêu: Xác định tình trạng dinh dưỡng của người bệnh đến khám tại Trung tâm tư vấn dinh dưỡng, Viện Dinh dưỡng.


Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang thực hiện trên 431 người bệnh đến khám tại Phòng khám tư vấn dinh dưỡng, Viện Dinh dưỡng từ tháng 5 năm 2021 đến tháng 4 năm 2022. Tình trạng dinh dưỡng được phân loại theo ngưỡng BMI cho người ở Khu vực Tây Thái Bình Dương với BMI < 18,5 25 kg/m2 là thiếu năng lượng trường diễn và BMI > 25 kg/m2 là thừa cân-béo phì. Tỷ lệ mỡ cơ thể cao khi vượt ngưỡng 30% ở nam và > 25% ở nữ.


Kết quả:  Tỷ lệ thiếu năng lượng trường diễn, thừa cân và béo phì lần lượt là 29,7%, 13,5%, và 3,7%, Tỷ lệ thừa cân và béo phì là 21.9% và 6,1% ở nam và 10,4 % và 2,8% ở nữ. Tỷ lệ thừa cân-béo phì cao hơn ở nam (28%) so với nữ (13,2%), trong khi tỷ lệ thiếu năng lượng trường diễn ở nam (22,8%) thấp hơn ở nữ (32,2%) (p<0,05). Tỷ lệ béo phì và thiếu năng lượng trường diễn cao nhất ở nhóm 20-29 tuổi. Tỷ lệ thừa cân, béo phì và thiếu năng lượng trường diễn lần lượt là 13,2, 3,7, and 25,4%ở thành thị và ở nông thôn 13,8, 3,8, and 37,1% .


Kết luận: Kết quả nghiên cứu cảnh báo sự xuất hiện béo phì và thiếu năng lượng trường diễn ở nhóm người trẻ tuổi. Tỷ lệ thừa cân và béo phì tương đương nhau ở thành thị và nông thôn trong khi có sự khác nhau giữa 2 vùng này về tỷ lệ thiếu năng lượng trường diễn.
